In this deceptive marketing expose, our team reveal our findings on Rewave TV Antenna, a product gaining popularity for its ‘Watch 100+ Channels for Free’ claim.

If you’re contemplating buying the Rewave antenna from getrewave.com, we’ve provided evidence that prove it is not a genuine device to purchase.

About Rewave TV Antenna

Sold on getrewave.com and advertised on YouTube, Facebook, etc, The Rewave is touted as a digital TV antenna that enables viewers to have access to more than 100 channels for free. The YouTube commercial claims it was invented by a NASA scientist, whose technology guaranteed the antenna can decrypt channels like ESPN, FoxSports1, HBO, TBS, TCM, etc.

The following features are also advertised;

  • Strong and stable signal
  • Full HD broadcast quality
  • Endless channel selection
  • No subscription fees

This might seem like a dream come true for lots of people who can’t afford cable TV, but it’s sadly a scam.

Is The Rewave TV Antenna a Scam?

Though the Rewave TV antenna might seem like a genuine product to buy, it’s actually a scam sold with deceptive marketing. Firstly, it is just a digital antenna that can only access local broadcast channels, depending on how strong the signals is. It doesn’t have access to ESPN, FoxSports1, PBS, FOX, etc. Those channels aren’t accessible without active cable subscription.

Secondly, if indeed there’s a device that can access more than 100HD channels for free, it would be illegal not 100% Legal as stated on getrewave.com. The manufacturers know this, but they’re simply hoodwinking buyers, making people think it’s possible to do such without judicial consequences.

Thirdly, this same antenna was sold under the name ‘WaveMax‘. Those who fell for the scam and placed an order from getwavemax.com received a cheap digital antenna that doesn’t do all it claims. We also made a video exposing the scam;

Getrewave.com Red Flags

On getrewave.com there are a handful of red flags hidden from untrained eyes. Here’s what we discovered when we analysed the website;

Fake Customer Reviews

The reviews displayed on getrewave.com are fake. Reverse image search showed the exact images have been used by other brands. Also, getrewave.com boasts of 1,200 4.7 star customer ratings on TrustPilot, but the link isn’t clickable. It doesn’t take you to their TrustPilot page. As of when this investigation was done, Rewave TV antenna hasn’t been rated on Trustpilot.com.

Fake 30 Day Money-Back Guarantee

The website claims customers can send their package back and get a full refund, if they’re not satisfied with the device. However, from past experience it’s impossible sending it back. Once you make a payment and receive the antenna, emails sent to support@getrewave.com are completely ignored.

False Discount Offer

The 70% discount displayed on getrewave.com is totally false. Digital antennas of same specs cost between $10 – $35 not the $99 original price displayed on getrewave.com. Even the discounted price of $49.99 is still exorbitant.

How The Rewave HD Antenna Scam Works

Rewave TV Antenna falls under the category of deceptive marketing. The manufacturers use a false NASA scientist invention story and limited discount offer to bait buyers on YouTube, Facebook, and other social media platforms.

The Ad commercial which is generated by AI, flashes so many wide claims and offers, making people think the antenna is a real deal. The positive reviews on the Ads and website are all scripted and not from real buyers.

In reality, the Rewave is a cheap digital antenna sold for extremely high prices and marketed with false claims. It can only access local channels, depending on how strong the signal bandwidth is. Getting a refund is impossible as the 30 days money back guarantee is false. There’s no active customer support to attend to customers.

The Bottom Line

Rewave is a falsely advertised device. This TV antenna doesn’t have full free access to thousands of channels as claimed. You can only get local channels, and that it dependent on where you place the antenna, and how strong the signal is.

If you fall for this deceptive marketing, you’ll be a victim

  • unauthorized charges on your bank statement (getrewave.com pads customers bill with items not ordered for)
  • No delivery of item or delivery of inferior product
  • Zero feedback from the company
